The Kindle Fire looks like a pretty good device. Too bad I can't afford one now.

I used to be a Republican and then I was a Democrat for awhile. It seemed important at the time. Following politics is a futile occupation because politicians are so full of crap. I just wish the policies that politicians come up with would kill and harm fewer people but I think it is pretty much random chance what type of policies emerge from the conglomeration of people we vote into office.
Even if the average voter actually understood what his political candidate actually wanted to do, the politician they voted for rarely does what he said he would.
I favor a system of computerized national referendums for making some types of legislation. I would like to see the constitution amended to have this capability. This would be useful on legislation that is critically important but cannot get passed because our politicians are deadlocked and are too asinine to make obvious compromises. Football games use a coin flip to decide who gets the ball first and this would be the political equivalent of flipping a coin. It can't be any worse than our current system.

I should find out on Friday if I have TMJ in my jaw. The other options sound worse and are unlikely. Apparently it is common for people with Chrones to develop arthritis in their jaw which can lead to TMJ but I am not sure if that is what is causing this interesting pain on the left side of my face. It looks like I am off to see the Oral Surgeon to tell me what my problem is.
Someone from Korea appeared to be trying to hack our Google accounts. I informed the appropriate authorities about it and it seems like the problem cleared up.
Image via WikipediaThere is a simple way to save the State of Wisconsin some money. Governor Walker could take himself, his family and the Republican legislators off of their expensive state government health insurance and put them on the waiting list for Badgercare Core. Maybe then I might even respect him because it would show he takes care of his neighbor the same way he takes care of himself. He currently seems to be a hypocrite to me.
