President Obama's job performance

I do not oppose or agree with everything President Obama does because I'm  not Republican or Democrat.  President George Washington warned that political parties would not be good for our country and I agree with that opinion from over 200 years ago.  It is obvious that President George Washington was right by simply observing our current government and its obvious weaknesses.  Our country was far from perfect in President Washington's time but the founders of our government did come up with a Declaration of Independence and a Constitution that has lasted all this time. Our government has evolved into something that at least makes an attempt at equal treatment and freedom for all citizens.  A black president is a major accomplishment for a country that started out allowing slavery of black people and subhuman treatment of other minorities.

The United States could not have achieved its current freedoms without a basis of Christianity and the Bible. There should not be any religious test for political office however I think that Christians like the Reverend Martin Luther King are the reason that we finally have a black President.  I disagree with President Obama on many things but I think he deserves the full respect given all Presidents.  Christian values are essential to creating a free society like the United States and we need to make sure we incorporate them into our government if we want to continue to live in a free society.

President Obama's domestic policy is mostly acceptable to me but I think his foreign policy is weak and dangerous.  Obamacare is better for this country than anything the Republicans have ever come up with for healthcare insurance.  I believe some members of the Tea Party branch of the Republican Party don't give a damn about peoples suffering and I believe that Obama does actually care even though Obamacare is far from perfect.  Its morally wrong to let people suffer when you can help them.

Obama seems naive when dealing with countries like Iran and with a small cancer like ISIS.  Countries and terrorist groups that want to reshape our world into a place without Christian values need to be opposed by all means necessary.  Our government should realize that we are being threatened and take the appropriate actions rather than helping our enemies put a noose around our neck.

Biopure cup with Irish creamer coffee

I am having some Baileys Irish creamer coffee this morning in my Biopure gift cup.  A long time ago in a land far away the people at Biopure were kind enough to give me a cup while I was doing some engineering field service at  their plant. I really liked the people there and I thought the product was impressive.  Their product concept was good but I guess it never worked out.
