Image by eleda 1 via FlickrI think the Doctors doing the research in this article shouldn't sleep in the same bed with anyone themselves because people probably transmit more diseases than pets. The Doctors say the pets can cause bubonic plague? This sounds like medicine from the Middle Ages. Cats were blamed for the bubonic plague in the dark ages so they were all killed and this allowed rats (the true plague carriers) to spread the plague.
