Don't researchers see some type of future moral dilemmas with this type of research. This research could help many people with various diseases including me. Growing organs to replace failing intestines, hearts and bladders seems fine to me. Someone will eventually attempt to grow a thinking brain in a box. Sounds ridiculous but it used to sound ridiculous that men would walk on the moon. Someone will come up with a reason it is essential and it will be done. Entire human beings could eventually be manufactured. It doesn't seem like a great idea to me.
