It is probably a sin but I grieved for that Cat more than I grieved for most people that have passed away. Carmen was over 18 years old and was in terrible pain so we didn't really have any choice. Always pay extra for a sedative when you put an animal to sleep because you have my guaranty that you will never regret paying that extra $49 for that animals comfort. Rather than giving a Cat a pill when they are ill, ask the vet for a topical application or a liquid because these are so much easier on you and the cat. Carmen's last act was to steal another cats canned cat food. Good for her. Rest in peace Carmen.
