Image via WikipediaI wonder how the Good Samaritan in Jesus parable would vote to use his tax dollars in this situation. Did Jesus say that we should do the same as the Good Samaritan? People actually die and suffer because they do not have basic health care. If the United States can afford to fight an unnecessary war in Iraq then we should be able to afford basic health care for all of our citizens. It is the only Christian response that matches the Bible.
